Multi-Media training & Career Development Program 2006
I'm really proud to be who I am because I'm still able to connect with mother earth and my culture....
Brett is a man on a mission and if you plan to get in his way he will go right around you.
If you ask my teachers about me they would probably say that I'm the class brat and I drive them crazy. I would agree but thats just me!
When I'm done school I plan on working all summer then go to a trade school and get into a program to become an iron worker and go to work in New York City.
When you are in grade seven you never want to come to school but when you get into grade eleven you don't really want to leave.
In my spare time I also like playing whatever, I sometimes win and sometimes lose...
People always tell me computers are the future and I always say, "Yeah, but you will always need buildings to put computers in and that will always take a carpenter to build."
My name is Rebecca, but my Mohawk name that I mostly use is Tekatsi:tsahkhwa which means (picking up flowers).
The thing that I want people to know about me is that my culture means the world to me. It is really important to me because without the culture we're just brown Canadians.
